3: Rally Tour from Tokyo:
All Japan Championship, Gunma
(Nov 21–24, 2026)
A special edition of the Akihabara-to-Gunma JDM culture tour (Nov 21–24), built around spectating the "2026 JAF All Japan Rally Championship, Round 9: MONTRE" in Annaka, Gunma. A rare chance to watch a demo run by official ambassador Sayaka Shimoda up close. The tour also includes the Initial D pilgrimage sites and Saya's Corner on Usui Pass, two nights at Ikaho Onsen, and a yakatabune boat cruise finale on Tokyo Bay. Limited to 8 guests, traveling in a private Hiace commuter van.
DAY 1 (Nov 21) Tokyo (Akihabara) to Gunma (Ikaho Onsen)
11:00 Meet at SEEKBASE Akiba - 3-min walk from Akihabara Sta. Denki Gai exit. Tour check-in.
11:30 GiGO Akihabara (racing-game experience) - Cockpit-style drift game previewing the pilgrimage course, at GiGO Akihabara Bldg. 3.
13:00 Atto Home Cafe - Maid cafe experience & lunch. Drawing and photo-booth (cheki) experience.
14:30 Miniature car & hobby shop stop - A stop visited on foot en route.
16:00 Commuter van to Shibukawa - Sightseeing of Ueno/Asakusa from the van; in-van quiz game.
19:00 Check in at Ikaho Onsen ryokan - Natural hot-spring "golden water" baths. Initial D viewing setup available.
DAY 2 (Nov 22) Gunma (Spectating the 2026 JAF All Japan Rally Championship, Round 9: MONTRE) - times provisional pending official schedule
9:00 Depart Ikaho Onsen - Head toward Annaka City.
11:00 Commuter van transfer
(time TBD) Lunch (Oginoya) - Receive the original kamameshi pot and a lid signed by Sayaka Shimoda (wrapping design random).
(time TBD) SAYA CAFE - Sayaka Shimoda-themed cafe inside Oginoya's Yokokawa store.
(time TBD) Rally spectating (Sayaka Shimoda demo run) - Watch Round 9 (MONTRE) of the JAF All Japan Rally Championship incl. a demo run by official ambassador Sayaka Shimoda.
17:30-19:00 Commuter van transfer
19:30 Second night at Ikaho Onsen ryokan - Natural hot-spring baths; a relaxing second night to rest.
DAY 3 (Nov 23) Gunma to Tokyo
09:00 Check out of Ikaho Onsen - Depart after two nights, sightseeing in Ikaho hot-spring town en route.
10:00-11:30 Mt. Haruna pilgrimage spots - Visit Initial D pilgrimage locations on Mt. Haruna, the real-life mountain believed to have inspired "Akina," the hero's home turf in the anime/manga and a popular spot for fans.
11:30 D's Garage - 3715-1 Shibukawa, Shibukawa City. A local car garage and shop stocking Initial D/JDM-related goods, vintage parts, and original merchandise. Souvenir shopping.
12:00 Lunch (TBD)
13:00 Commuter van transfer
16:00 Optional Asakusa sightseeing
17:45 Yakatabune boat cruise (finale) - Funasei Tokyo Bay cruise & dinner.
20:30 Check in at Tokyo hotel - Hotel in the Asakusa area.
DAY 4 (Nov 24) Free time & departure
No guide or commuter van accompanies this day. Free time. Tour concludes at the hotel.
Note: All ground transport is by a dedicated Hiace commuter van.
